Ethiopian pop singer Lemlem H/Michael Eshetu, born on March 20th in the Bale region's Agarfa woreda, holds a degree in theatrical arts and a second degree in Theater for Development from Addis Ababa University. She began her professional singing career with the “Yegna” project. Her latest album, developed over nearly four years with the help of renowned artists and producer Wondwossen Yihub, showcases her talent.
Lemlem received the Best Female Singer award at the 8th Odda Awards for her song “Walin.” She expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the recognition, mentioning that the song was recorded at the late Elias Melka's studio, where she cherished many wonderful moments. “If he were here, he would be proud,” Lemlem reflected, concluding her speech by thanking everyone who contributed to her music.
